Fine Jewelry Reddit Advertising Case Study

An estimated 3x click-attributed ROAS in the first month.

3x

estimated click-attributed ROAS in the first month

The opportunity

  • Connect a fine jewelry brand with audiences researching styles, comparing brands and considering meaningful purchases.

  • Bring community context, product creative and purchase optimization together in a paid Reddit campaign.

The strategy

  • Target purchase consideration. Use jewelry, engagement ring, fashion and wedding planning communities alongside category and competitor keywords.

  • Reconnect with familiar shoppers. Include a 90-day website visitor audience to reach people already familiar with the brand.

  • Give creative a clear commercial role. Deploy headline, image, video and thumbnail variations within a purchase-optimized Reddit Max campaign.

  • Track the path beyond the click. Use tagged destination URLs and review Reddit reporting alongside GA4 to distinguish platform attribution from website analytics.

The result

  • An estimated 3x click-attributed ROAS in the first month. Ads went live on April 6, 2026. April reporting, through April 30, supports the launch-month result using Reddit-reported click-attributed purchases and the reported average order value.

  • View-through purchases are excluded from this estimate. The result describes attributed purchase activity during the reporting period.

Measurement and context

The launch date is confirmed in contemporaneous client correspondence. The performance calculation comes from the April 1–30 campaign report. The first-month claim refers to that launch-month reporting window, not a daily measurement of when ROAS first crossed 3x.

  • Estimated ROAS is calculated as Reddit click-attributed purchases × reported average order value ÷ media spend. It is an estimate of attributed revenue, rather than reconciled order-level revenue or profit.

  • The campaign used a seven-day click and one-day view attribution window. Only the click-attributed purchases are included in the headline estimate.

  • GA4 paid-social reporting showed a lower 0.58x return for the period. The sources use different attribution approaches and were not reconciled at order level. Paid-social tagging was also updated during the reporting period, limiting direct comparison.

  • Client anonymized. This case does not establish incremental sales, new-customer acquisition or performance at a larger budget.
